Guy Moves and Leaves His “Trash” Behind

There’s just no limit to the lengths people will go to suck.
couchThis beautiful little boy was abandoned outside his home near 43rd Avenue and Cactus Road in Phoenix, Arizona when his person moved away. To add insult to injury, the gentle 3-year old pit bull cross was left among some garbage at the curb. This sad photo was snapped by an incredulous neighbour who couldn’t believe what he was seeing. Melissa Gable from Maricopa County Animal Care and Control says, “This was [taken outside] the dog’s house, and that was a couch that the owner had discarded. The more we heard from people in the area, we realized it was true – that he had just been dumped, abandoned.”

What kind of monster would leave a sweet boy curled up and terrified on a couch by the side of the road? Pups are members of the family! Would you leave a child behind like that? WE KNOW WHERE YOU LIVE!

Fortunately, the photo has generated a lot of interest in the dog’s plight. Gable says, ““We have been inundated with calls people from the public, rescue groups, people who want to step forward and help.” Gable saw that the poor guy was definitely frightened by his ordeal. “On Thursday when he came in, he was pretty scared, he didn’t want to come inside but by Saturday, he was inside, tail wagging, eating treats. Really a sweet dog.”

The dog, nicknamed “Brownie” will remain with Animal Care and Control / Humane Society in Phoenix while the police determine whether chargers will be laid against the owner. For now, it is a small comfort to know that he is unharmed and in good hands.

People suck.
