I’m a Canadian girl and a writer at heart, but I’m an ESL teacher by day. Gotta pay the bills! (That’s a lie. I LOVE what I do.)
I am also mother to a wonderful 14-year-old girl named Zoë. My best girl has autism, so that definitely makes life more fun and interesting!
My darling husband, Edwin, hails from Mexico, so I eat well. Also, he is nice and stuff. Oh yeah, and I had (and beat) breast cancer! That is the subject of my first blog: Survivor@37. I decided to start Hard Days Write to get away from all that cancery stuff and keep it light, but I can’t promise I won’t drop a mention of it here or there.
As well, you may notice that I’m a little dog-obsessed. My other girl, Kahlúa, came along at exactly the right time in my life to heal my heart.
So, thanks for stopping by! I hope I can meet other bloggers with similar interests. I’m still relatively new at this, so if you have any pointers, advice, edits, comments, I welcome all of the above! Happy blogging (and reading!)
